Sunset Cotillo

We will enter the volcanic area of Bayuyo, descending on dirt tracks and passing craters in lava-covered fields. There is a photo stop at the Bayuyo volcano itself, where with a bit of luck you can find the friendly local chipmunks. We then head to Majanicho, a ramshackle hamlet nestled in a sheltered cove. From here, we follow the coast along sandy paths until we reach the fishing village of El Cotillo. The waves have made it a surfing mecca.
Unlike the northern and southern coasts, the beach of El Cotillo is black volcanic sand. You can visit the three-in-one lighthouse and the Tostón tower to take some photos. You will also have some free time to have a bite to eat or stroll around the village. Afterwards, we will go to a viewpoint to watch the sunset over the Atlantic while sipping a chilled cava (included in the price). The icing on the cake is the return journey under the starry sky.

We recommend comfortable shoes / food and drink not included. We recommend warm clothes/not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
